Within the framework of the Erasmus+/KA2 project "Our School, My Future: ESL Project", teachers from around Thessaloniki, Greece, had the opportunity to attend a 15-hour workshop, spread over five (5) days, introducing the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) as a means of enriching their classes with interactive content and a way to help contain the Early School Leaving problem in their schools. The workshop was held at the Experimental Junior High School of the University of Macedonia from 22-26 June 2015 and was attended by eighteen (18) teachers.
All teachers had the opportunity to create their own Moodle website, prepared material that could be used in class, and received an extensive visual guidebook that helped them get through an on line course that was put together to allow them to practice at home and progress swiftly through the material that had to be covered. Upon completion of the workshop, each participant received a certificate of attendance while a few days later they were asked to complete a feedback questionnaire on line.
