Our project is innovative in the following ways:
- The participating schools, which are in direct contact and cooperation with other institutions, come from different backgrounds, allowing for a holistic approach to the ESL problem. Most studies conducted so far are mainly based on data that has been collected on a national level, disregarding its EU-wide repercussions.
- Proposals that have been presented in the past to tackle the ESL problem in each partner’s country of origin will be taken into account and evaluated, in parallel with new proposals that will be put forward by the institutions participating in this project.
- The interrelation of project activities involving students with their potential professional pursuits.
- The project will be supported through the e-Twinning portal, social media etc.
- Long-distance cooperation can continue even after the project is officially concluded.
- Educational material will be produced in a format that permits its incorporation in everyday school life and will be interactively created, easy for customized in each user needs and/or preferences.
- Conclusions drawn from this project could be incorporated in and improve local curricula.
