The EU Educational Program Erasmus+ "My School, Our Future - ESL project"

Educators working in different Secondary Schools in Thessaloniki have participated in the dissemination and educational seminar, titled: The EU Educational Program Erasmus+ "My School, Our Future - ESL project". The seminar was held at the Experimental Junior High School of the University of Macedonia and aimed to familiarize the participants with Erasmus+ projects, ESL identification and combating and good teaching practices, and ICT tools that have been used in the Experimenta Junior High School of the University of Macedonia and can be adopted in their own school environment. It was conducted in accordance with the hybrid online model of adult education [traditional (28-29/03/2015) and online (30/03-06/04/2015) activities] within a 30-hour time frame and was attended by twenty five (25) head teachers and teachers of various specializations and 6 instructors, as well. Each participant received a certificate of attendance while a few days later they were asked to complete a feedback questionnaire on line. Feedback graphics can be found in the file attached below.

Taking the Plunge into Moodle

Within the framework of the Erasmus+/KA2 project "Our School, My Future: ESL Project", teachers from around Thessaloniki, Greece, had the opportunity to attend a 15-hour workshop, spread over five (5) days, introducing the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) as a means of enriching their classes with interactive content and a way to help contain the Early School Leaving problem in their schools. The workshop was held at the Experimental Junior High School of the University of Macedonia from 22-26 June 2015 and was attended by eighteen (18) teachers.
