Aiming to promote the educational material produced within the framework of the Erasmus+ ΚΑ2 program “Our School, My Future – ESL Project”, which is coordinated by Peiramatiko Gymnasio Panepistimiou Makedonias and focuses on the effort to prevent and combat Early School Leaving (ESL) in Europe, project coordinator Dr. Maria Machairidou participated as guest speaker at the roundtable entitled “Innovative Physical Education Actions in Primary and Secondary Education”, which was held at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in Komotini on Friday, May 20, 2016, within the framework of the 24th International Congress of Physical Education and Sport Science. She presented the asynchronous distance education program “Promotion of healthy lifestyles and development of the students’ social skills through physical education and environmental activities” which was offered to teachers from the five partner countries that participate in the aforementioned Erasmus+ program. Some 65 teachers from Greece, Poland, Romania, Spain, and Turkey had the opportunity to participate in this training program which was organized by Peiramatiko Gymnasio Panepistimiou Makedonias and six (6) academics who are also members of the Hellenic Academy of Physical Education. A summary of the presentation appeared on page 12 of the current issue of the scientific journal “ΕΚΗΒΟΛΟΣ” (Hecebolus).

Protypo Peiramatiko Gymnasio Panepistimiou Makedonias created and performed a comprehensive presentation of the district of Central Macedonia, Thessaloniki, and the school itself to the teachers, students, and parents of the Spanish and Turkish schools during the 1st and 2nd TPMs.

A variety of dissemination activities and initiatives have taken place in each of the partner schools to support the aims of the project. Specifically, some of the events which have been organized till today by Protypo Peiramatiko Gymnasio Panepistimiou Makedonias in Greece are the following:
Θερμά συγχαρητήρια στους μαθητές του σχολείου μας
Γρηγόρη Σπανόπουλο, Χρήστο Τσεντεκίδη και Φοίβο Φιλιππίδη
για την κατάκτηση της 1ης θέσης
και Χρήστο Γκόγκα, Νικολέτα Μπαρμπαλιού και Δημήτρη Παυλίδη
για την κατάκτηση της 3ης θέσης στην κατηγορία Open του 1ου Περιφερειακού Διαγωνισμού Εκπαιδευτικής Ρομποτικής Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 27/6/2015 στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μακεδονίας.
Η Πρεσβεία της Ομοσπονδιακής Δημοκρατίας της Γερμανίας προκήρυξε εφέτος για δέκατη φορά διαγωνισμό για το «Βραβείο Καθηγητή Γερμανικών». Το βραβείο απονέμεται σε καθηγητές και καθηγήτριες της γερμανικής γλώσσας για τις εξαιρετικές τους επιδόσεις σε σχολεία γενικής εκπαίδευσης. Στα πλαίσια του διαγωνισμού αυτού η κυρία Μαρία Χατζηγιώση συμμετείχε με τους μαθητές της και η εργασία τους επιβραβεύτηκε από το Πρέσβη με «Έπαινο». Η τελετή έλαβε χώρα στην Αθήνα στις 12 Ιουνίου.
Θέμα του φετινού διαγωνισμού: «Γερμανικά έθιμα και παραδοσιακές γιορτές». Στις εργασίες για τη συμμετοχή στο διαγωνισμό συμμετείχαν μαθητές από όλες τις τάξεις, οι οποίοι προσπάθησαν να δραματοποιήσουν τα ήθη και έθιμα και να τα παρουσιάσουν με βιωματικό τρόπο.
